Admit it, at one point in your life you might have had
imagined yourself as a cartoon or anime character. Like being part of the Vocaloids
or becoming Zero from Code Guess and have the power over peoples will. This is
actually the first step in Cosplay. Cosplay is a term referring to the art
wherein people try to “mimic” their favorite cartoon or anime characters. It is
considered a performance art born out of the combination of fashion design,
role playing and costume party. The choices are basically endless for these
enthusiasts and their determination is very admirable at the very least.
Cosplaying is fun and one of the best ways to meet other
people with the same hobby and be friends with them. Like in Japan, teens
usually go out on the street with their costumes and some would go to places
and strike poses with their characters based on the anime and in manga. It is
also an art. No doubt about that. Unlike before when cosplayers were seen as geeks,
the modern world now sees them as indomitable enthusiasts with a fervent love
for their art.
